CASA ARANCIONE (Orange House)
Andreas Weichselbraun (May 01, 2014 - May 05, 2014)
We loved this apartment for its location and comfort for our family of 5. Kids loved separate bedroom. Bathroom seemed new. Kitchen had all you'd need including dishes and pots etc. they left 3 towels for each person. We brought food back to eAt at the table that sat 6. No air conditioning but fans did the trick to keep us cool. It would be great if they left instructions on how to work the washing machine. The bar across the piazza made great coffee. Only negative was the noise on weekend nights as the courtyard out the window is a favorite hangout for young people. I think the bar owner cleaned up the glass each morning. Quiet after 3am on weekend. Didn't bother our kids at all. There are about 20 stairs to get to apartment and 3 stairs in apartment to get to kitchen, bath and second bedroom. Loved watching the people outside and the relative quiet area. Easy walk to campo di fiori to market. Our relatives stayed at nearby hotel rinascalmente and ate with us at apartment. Will definitely return. Definitely for those who want some character, not modern. Working with Dorothea and others at apartment was easy and professional.

CASA VIOLA (Ripetta-Piazza del Popolo)
Joseph Nagy (March 24, 2015 - March 27, 2015)

My wife, and two young adult children from Chicago stayed in Simona’s apartment for 3 nights in March 2015. The apartment is in a very safe neighborhood with many nice cafes and restaurants in the immediate area. Simona and Luciana provided timely responses with my initial inquires and on follow ups after we confirmed reservation. Simona was waiting for us at the apartment when we arrived and provided an excellent tour of the apartment. The apartment is large and comfortable with plenty of room to spread out and relax after a day of exploring Rome. The bedrooms are in the back of the apartment and very quiet – perfect for a good night sleep. There is a taxi stand and a metro station a short walk from the apartment. You will be very satisfied if you decide to rent this apartment. J.N.

Peggy Scherrer (October 19, 2014 - October 22, 2014)
Simona was a wonderful host. She welcomed us and had coffee, tea and necessary breakfast items available. The flat is nice and clean and was quite large. It is in a very busy area of Rome, right down the street from the Piazza di Popolo. If the windows are open, you definitely the street noise. But it was quite warm in Rome during our stay and we found it more comfortable keeping the windows closed and the AC on. There are several good restaurants on this street, some of them more neighborhood type restaurants which were frequented by locals. It was within walking distance of most of the major attractions, and was easy to find our way around in Rome

August 2014 (August 16, 2014 - August 20, 2014)
My family and I have spent 4 days in Rome from August 16th till 20th 2014. We were 6 (2 parents and 4 young adults). The apartment had 3 bedrooms. It was our first experience renting an apartment. Usually, we go in nice hotels.
The verdict was unanimous. We loved it!
Because of our lack of experience with renting apartments, we were a tad nervous. Would the premises be at par with the web site? Will the apartment be clean, will the AC be effective…
First, Simona was waiting for us, which was a relief considering the facts that we had 2 cars and that we were in historic Rome. She was very welcoming. She made us feel very comfortable right away.
The apartment was amazing! It had obviously been renovated lately, very nice, very clean and the location was fantastic (less then 50 meters from Piazza del Popolo). Well equipped.
We walked everywhere in Rome from the apartment. Amazing restaurants next door…
Simona even took care of our ride back to the airport.
What else can you ask for?
In Rome, this place is hard to beat. We strongly recommend it.

Luglio 25,2013 (July 25, 2013 - July 28, 2013)
We had a wonderful time here. It is huge! and luxurious. Safe and lovely neighborhood. There was plenty of room for all the family members. The a/c worked well. The beds were comfortable. It was convenient to have a full kitchen and laundry. There are lots of excellent and reasonably priced restaurants within 2-3 minutes walk. We wished we could have stayed longer and would certainly come back. The piazza del Popolo was beautiful, but not as full up with tourists as other places we visited. Everything including the Vatican was within walking distance (1 mile) or a short taxi ride for 10-15 euro.

My husband and I spent 10 wonderful days in this flat. The views from the terrace were spectacular. It's a small place, but close to everything. The stairs will give you a work out. The neighborhood is wonderful. It's perfect for a couple. You can take the bus to all the sights and there are many things to do right in Trastevere. Museums, palazzos to visit, churches and many wonderful restaurants. Our favorite restaurant was Romolo by the old city wall. And don't miss the convent next to St. Cecelia's where they have the most amazing frescos. ATM's are not plentiful in the area so you'll need to plan ahead. Can't wait to return!
